For a good cause: selling waffles at the harvest festival

The school children of Freudenberg in Germany have been selling waffles at their harvest festival and donating the proceeds to Malteser International for the last four years. Their donations allow us to provide around 55 other school children in Peru with a warm lunch every day.

"It is a lovely experience for the children to see that they can play an active role in helping to improve the lives of other children that do not have the same advantages that they do," their teacher said.

We are very happy to have the generous and loyal support of the children of Freudenberg.
